Let’s start with the regular programming. Kind of. You see I’m really trying to get myself back into the spirit of blogging without much pressure. After all I started blogging for fun and self expression and somewhere in between it all stopped being fun, so I stopped blogging and stripped down to a good old trusted Blogger. I maybe back into the world of WordPress at some point but the time isn’t now.

With creating a brand new blog I have also created a new Instagram account mainly because I’m an idiot and somehow locked myself out of my old one, and you know what I literally cannot be bothered to get myself back on there. I’m telling you guys, these days, if breathing would require a huge amounts of effort I’d be long time dead. It could be the cold and gloomy days of winter that has such negative effect on me, or it could be lack of engagement on Instagram, and I know lot’s of people feel this way. It’s heartbreaking when you’re a content creator but your creations don’t get much notice, no matter how hard you try or how much heart you put into it.

And that’s another reason why I’ve taken a step back, had a break and now just go with the flow. I think our generation became so use to the idea of utilising our hobbies we forgot to enjoy them? Or is it just me that gets huge amounts of anxiety when it comes to creating and performing online?

The truth is, you don’t need to make money from every hobby you ever done. Each interaction online doesn’t need to give you any sort of gain.

This is something I tried to explain to a family member few weeks ago. As a child I had so many different hobbies and passions, I was highly involved in all of them, and it was great. I was swimming, running, drawing, performing, playing instruments, and it was all for the pure joy of doing it. Trying to make money though my hobbies has made me spent countless amounts of money that of course I didn’t mind spending but there wasn’t much reason’s for me to spend them. Laptop, camera, lenses, fair enough. I use those outside of content creation but oh boy have I spent hundreds if not thousands, on clothes, shoes, jewellery, make up, stuff, I can easily live without. But I got anyway just for the sake of content. You bet! And it’s ridiculous! Do I still buy stuff, of course, but I’d rather do it on items that bring me joy and not just sit in my wardrobe collecting dust. Or I’ll go see my favourite bands, or go meet friends. I planning on investing more money into my appearance this year, mainly tattoo’s and piercings. The green hair stay’s for now.
